Did you know that PEPCO has made some changes to its billing system? Now, it's easier than ever to track how your SharePower by Groundswell community solar subscription affects your monthly electricity bill.
When you subscribe to a SharePower by Groundswell community solar project, we work closely with PEPCO to ensure your community solar credits are applied to your monthly electricity bill. Your bill credits should appear on the second page of your PEPCO bill under "Community Solar Bill Credit." Your PEPCO bill should also show how your "Community Solar Credit" impacts your balance in the "Electric Summary" section of your bill.
The community solar credits on your PEPCO bill will vary month-to-month based on how much energy your subscription generates. You will typically see a bigger community solar credit during the summer months when the sun shines brighter and the days are longer.
Finally, you can also track your community solar savings over time on your SharePower dashboard.
